Halcrow formed in the summer of 2005, a merging of five musicians from the Northern California music scene. With previous bands, the members of Halcrow have played shows at NorCal venues including the Mondavi Center, The Boardwalk, Raley Field, The Powerhouse Pub, Club Retro, Cafe Roma, The Net, Club Vinyl, The Underground, Capital Garage, and local high schools, colleges, and community centers.
Halcrow’s members have had their various tunes spun on KRXQ 98 ROCK and 107.9 THE END and have had their recordings featured twice on 98 ROCK’s “Sacramento Rocks” compilation CD and on the Stanford Soundtrack, in addition to live performances aired on Channel 31’s “Good Evening Sacramento” and KXTV News 10 (ABC) television broadcasts.
Over 80 original tracks have been recorded between Halcrow’s five members.Many have been made available through the iTunes Music Store, CDbaby, Napster, Netmusic.com, Listen.com, and Viztas.com. To date, over 5,000 CD’s featuring their individual songs have made their way into the hands of fans.
